Ray of Light
Found in Translation: Light allows man to experience and interpret reality with our own eyes, and our different languages encode meaning in different forms.
Through this project, we wanted to express these qualities of light through its translation in terms of scale as well as through the manipulation of different materials and textures, such as acrylic and glue, to imitate caustics.
By capturing the movement of the light source using long-exposure photography and the mechanism of the double pendulum, the chaos behind this seemingly orderly motion is captured, creating beautiful frames.
